Schisma

Two cave houses located in the wild landscape of Athani are overlooking the horizon of the Ionian Sea.
Their elements, partially hidden—partially distinctive, appear as engravings on the natural relief and create a new landscape.
Introverted, closed spaces open up to the surroundings either punctually over skylights or more boldly over large windows.
Outdoors, a terrace, exposed to the openness of the landscape, hosts areas of different uses and materialities and forms a new garden typology.
